1. Who we are

Suítes no Capão is a short-term rental business in Vale do Capão, Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil. We are the controller of the personal data processed on this site.

2. Data we collect

We only collect what you give us or what your browser sends when you visit the site:

  • Booking request (booking assistant and calendar): chosen suite, dates, number of guests, estimated price, phone/WhatsApp number and an optional message.
  • Contact form: name, email, dates of interest and message.
  • WhatsApp conversation: what you send there is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) and by us, to assist you.
  • Browsing data, if you accept cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and the ad campaign you came from.

3. What we use it for, and the legal basis

  • Replying to messages, sending quotes and confirming bookings and payments — performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (LGPD, art. 7, V).
  • Measuring site usage and evaluating ads (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) — your consent (art. 7, I).
  • Complying with legal and tax obligations — art. 7, II.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

When you arrive, we ask for your choice about measurement and advertising cookies. If you decline, none of them are loaded and the site works normally. You can change your mind at any time in “Cookie preferences”, in the footer.

  • Necessary (always on): your chosen language, light/dark theme and your own cookie choice, stored in your browser.
  • Measurement (consent only): Google Analytics, which produces visit statistics (_ga cookies).
  • Advertising (consent only): Meta Pixel, which measures the results of Instagram and Facebook ads and lets us show ads to people who visited the site (_fbp cookie).
  • Campaign (consent only): if you arrive through an ad, we keep the link parameters (utm) to know which campaign led to the booking request.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with those needed to provide the service:

  • Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel, WhatsApp, Instagram), according to your choices and use.
  • The site's hosting provider.
  • Airbnb, if you choose to book there (governed by Airbnb's own policy).

Google and Meta may process data in other countries, under their own policies and the safeguards provided by the LGPD (art. 33).

6. How long we keep it

Booking requests and messages are kept for as long as needed to assist you and meet legal and tax obligations; after that they are deleted or anonymized. Measurement data follows the retention periods set in Google and Meta.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18) you may, at any time:

  • confirm that we process your data and access it;
  • correct incomplete or outdated data;
  • request anonymization, blocking or deletion;
  • request data portability;
  • find out who we share your data with;
  • withdraw your consent (including in “Cookie preferences”).

8. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the admin panel is restricted. No system is completely immune to failures, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
