Rio Preto & Rodas

Rio Preto and Rodas are actually two neighboring waterfalls, reached from the same parking area: Cachoeira das Rodas is about a 30-minute walk, with a few shallow crevices mid-falls just deep enough to dip your feet — there's no real deep pool, especially at the base of the falls. Rio Preto, the region's largest river, forms a 25-meter natural pool and is a 45-minute-to-1-hour walk from the same parking area. The trail is gentle, with no steep climbs — a great option for a lighter outing.
